NetworkingEmployer Learning Forum
The Employer Learning Forum (ELF) is made up of local employers with a passion for training and learning at work who see personal development and raising skills as a way of enabling their workforce to fulfil their full potential.
Learning at work can enhance the employee experience, increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and enables employees to seek promotion and feel valued.
The ELF group meet once every quarter at different companies and discuss issues around training, skills & qualifications, funding, recruitment & retention issues, apprenticeships, enhancing school links and generally to share good practice around employer engagement.
The group also invites representatives from agencies and organisations such as the Learning & Skills Council, Connexions, Business Link, Aim Higher and a range of training providers to discuss issues around work based learning, qualifications and funding.
The current active membership of the forum includes:
- Caterpillar
- Dalton Park Retail Outlet
- Eden Farm Foods
