Graham joined EDBS after spending 10 years with Shell UK Retail as their Senior Area Sales Manager. Prior to joining Shell, Graham worked for a range of organisations including a convenience store group and Timpson.

Retail Improvement Scheme

East Durham Retail Property Owners or Tenents may be able to access a grant contribution towards the updating and improvement of their retail premises of up to £8000.

If you are applying for financial assistance, the process is as follows:

1. Make an appointment, either by calling or submitting the enquiry form
2. Work with the Retail Adviser to discuss your activity
3. Obtain two quotes for each chosen activity
4. Complete a grant application form and submit this with your quotes to the Retail Adviser
5. An independent panel will assess your application
6. Once approved, you can go ahead with the work
7. On submission of the receipts you will be awarded your grant

Please note: You must wait for approval of your application before you go ahead with the work. No grant will be awarded retrospectively.
